01 APRIL 2021: Leading QSR brand, Subway New Zealand, has today officially launched its newest addition to its iconic cult cookie range; a fresh, herb-inspired coriander cookie.

Available nationally in stores now, the new coriander cookie promises to deliver a salivating, lemony citrus flavour punched into a delicious $1 snack. The new menu addition is expected to delight millions of coriander lovers nationwide who have been waiting years for this new menu item to arrive.

Subway Senior PR Manager, Amanda Templeton, said Subway has answered the country’s calls. 

“Coriander lovers, we’ve heard your cries – and we’ve answered,” said Ms Templeton.

“Following several years in robust product research and development, we’re delighted today to announce our new coriander cookie, which has been designed with herb-alicous ingredients and perfection in mind. We’re quietly confident this range is going to leave Kiwis begging for more.

In preparation for the announcement, Subway stores have been advised to brace for impact as thousands of New Zealanders are expected to swarm in the early hours of the morning to be among the first to try the glorious, grassy new menu addition.

“As we prepare for a high influx of guests, we have put in place several stringent measures for our restaurants to cope with increased demand,” said Ms Templeton.

“After all, this new menu addition is more than just a tasty, affordable way to indulge – it’s set to surprise and delight our nation’s most passionate consumer group – coriander lovers,” she said.
